Why we keep it considered
We would rather carry a hundred good pieces than six hundred forgettable ones
Every item here passes the same three tests: well made, genuinely useful, and still right in a room three years from now. If it fails one of them, it does not go in the catalogue.
We favour honest materials that age instead of wearing out — solid wood, stoneware, linen, wool, beeswax and glass. Much of the range is made in small runs, so glaze, grain and weave vary a little from piece to piece. We think that is the point.
